Winter sport injuries are coming…

Winter is almost here, and we’re ready to get moving!

However as training intensifies, so does the risk for soft tissue, contact and overuse injuries.

To reduce your chances of getting injured, start with your feet by investing in properly fitted game-specific footwear that doesn’t pinch or slip off too easily.

Common winter sports-related afflictions like plantar fasciitis, achilles tendonitis, growing pains and even sever’s disease can be prevented if you remember a few important things;

✔️ Always stretch before and after activity;

✔️ Listen carefully to what your body is telling you when something starts hurting, and don’t ignore it; and

✔️ Ice & rest any acute injury right away

These simple steps will help keep those dreaded post-workout aches at bay while helping build stronger athletic performance this season.
