Peter Bottrill opened Belconnen Podiatry Service in Macquarie before moving to the current location in The Belconnen Churches building on Benjamin Way in 1987. Peter and wife Claudia built a busy podiatric practice servicing the people of the expanding Belconnen region.
In 2015, Peter decided to take the business the next level and work alongside The Walking Clinic, This was continued for many years before Peters retirement in 2018. The facelift undertaken at Belconnen has enabled us to expand the number of Podiatrists, offering innovative services in a vibrant clinical space.
The Walking Clinic offers general foot care and health, including nail trimming, corn removal and callus debridement. Diabetes assessments including Doppler investigation, nerve response, blood flow, complication indicators. Sports injury prevention or rehabilitation, Biomechanical assessments using the latest technology, video analysis and 3D scanning extending to Custom Orthotic Therapy.
