Fun Fact: Uneven Leg Lengths Are More Common Than You Think

You might be surprised to learn how common uneven leg lengths are – and most people don’t even know they have it.

But even a small difference in leg lengths can throw off your balance and lead to issues like overuse injuries, especially if you’re training regularly.⁠

Some signs to look out for:

  • One shoe wears out faster than the other
  • Ongoing hip, knee or lower back niggles
  • You just feel a bit ‘off’ when walking or running⁠

The good news? Orthotics or targeted strengthening exercises can often help get things back on track – especially if over-pronation is part of the picture.⁠

If something’s not feeling right, it might be time for a visit to your podiatrist.
