Lyneham Clinic

The Walking Clinic was founded by Richard Lee in June 1978 under the name ACT Podiatry Services. ACT Podiatry Services was the first fully operational Podiatry Centre in Canberra bringing a whole new dimension of Podiatric Care to the ACT and surrounds.

The practice was originally in the heart of Canberra City until 1993 when it moved to Braddon. This coincided with our name being changed to The Walking Clinic. A name that fully reflects our ambition and commitment to supplying the people of Canberra with the highest quality podiatric treatment and care from our highly trained staff. We have been in our current location in Mouat Street, Lyneham since November 1999.

The Team at The Walking Clinic has expanded over this time to four locations across Canberra. As a dynamic team, our Podiatrists strive to keep at the forefront of the industry and are constantly under taking training in technological advances to provide the best treatment possible to.

The Walking Clinic offers general footcare and health, including nail trimming, corn removal and callus debridment. Diabetes assessments including Doppler investigation, nerve response, blood flow, complication indicators. Sports injury prevention or rehabilitation, Bio mechanical assessments using the latest technology, video analysis and 3D scanning extending to Custom Orthotic Therapy.
